Demand response programs, offered by utilities around the country, have been available for decades as a way for businesses to earn new revenue. However, many retail grocery chains have been hesitant to enroll, especially with mission critical assets like their refrigeration systems.
A lot has changed in recent years. Enrollment has been streamlined, participation has been made easy and safe with IoT, and incentives are available to reduce/eliminate upfront costs.
On March 22nd, 2022, Axiom Cloud hosted a webinar with panelists from Emerson, Enersponse, and National Grid, with the goal of creating awareness of recent changes in the Demand Response ecosystem.
